Legal Information
At Denver Front Range Online ("DFRO", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
- Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location.
- Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.
2. How We Use Your Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
3. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
4. Visit and Click Counts
When you open a business listing or tap its website, phone or directions link, we count that visit or tap so business owners can see how their listing performs. We do not use cookies or browser storage for this. We make a one-way anonymous code from the date, your IP address and your browser type; the code changes every day, cannot be reversed, and is used only to avoid counting the same visit twice. We do not store your IP address and we do not share these counts with advertisers.
5. Newsletter
If you subscribe to the Front Range Rundown we collect your name, email address and ZIP code so we can send you local news that is relevant to you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
When you use "Send Message" on a claimed Featured listing, your message and contact details are emailed to that business's owner and a copy is sent to us. The business owner may reply to you directly.
6. Your Legal Rights
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to:
- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction of your personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
- Object to processing of your personal data.
For questions regarding this privacy policy, please contact us via our Contact page.
7. Affiliate and Partner Links
Some links on this site and in our newsletter, The Front Range Rundown, are affiliate links, including some ticket, tour and experience links. When you click one, the partner may use cookies or similar technology to record that you came from Denver Front Range Online, so we can earn a commission if you buy something. We don't receive your payment details from these partners. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
Commissions never decide what we include. Paid placements, such as Featured listings and Sponsored newsletter spots, are always labeled. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Questions: affiliate@denverfrontrangeonline.com.
