The West of Surrender is a stylish Saloon like restaurant open from 11am -midnight. I went here some times and always loved the great service and food! It’s sometimes full and you have to wait for some minutes for outside seats, but it’s worth it. Nice decorations and history about their old Western Style.
There are plenty of different beers, 36 draft beer taps. They have a cocktail Happy Hour too and weekend brunch.
Great for lunch and dinner!! I love the fried beans so much!

First stop in Denver, CO and we were welcomed with such warmth. We split the elk meatball linguine (should have made it my meal) and I had the beef stroganoff. Everything here was well prepared and our waitress was very kind. Neither of us could finish our meals so they made excellent leftovers.
There is some street parking around the area and you’ll see a bunch of random parking lots with various prices. Look around for one that makes sense for the length you need.

Absolutely Amazing. It was my first time here and from the start, we were welcomed in like family. The drinks came fast, seating was quick and comfortable. Atmosphere was amazing and food was incredible. Loved the band as well. The wait staff and owner so incredibly friendly and checked on us frequently. I loved the history of the building and the location, sitting on the 16th Street mall was great. Kat, Tony, Gary and the rest of the staff made this family gathering a great night. I usually don't write about restaurants, especially these days but the service and experience was fantastic, West of Surrender deserves the attention!

Our server was great. Food was wonderful. Get the Orange Creamsicle French Toast! Home fries are crisp, hot and tasty. The fried chicken with green chili is very yummy.

This is one of my favorite places to go downtown and I’ve celebrated my birthday here for the past 2 years, it never disappoints. The Sidewinder Green Chile Fries are AMAZING. The Cast Iron Chicken Pot Pie is my number one, and the Pioneer Meatloaf is a close second. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating to larger parties. I would highly, highly recommend!
