I have a van outfitted for adventures in the mountains. Jason and the crew at The Shop Automotive, installed some aftermarket suspension parts; tunable shocks. The original install was quick, priced appropriately, and has worked like a dream. Since then, I further modified the van by installing skid plates that protected the lower rear shocks. This caused some issues with the longevity of small shock parts. The issue resulted in a loose lower shock mount, and a clunking noise for the life of me I could not identify. I took the van to Jason for diagnosis. He took his time and by process of elimination, identified the problem. The lower shock skid plates were removed, new small parts installed. The van drives like a dream again. Phew! All of this was completed in two days time. Phuk. Yeah. Thanks Jason! Our MB Sprinter a 100k miles prioritizes the function of our life on a daily basis. In other words, everyday we’re make demands of our Sprinter. When talking w/Piper to schedule the type of service you need, (believe me they can do it all, a CV boot, brakes and an inner tie rod were the new items addressed on my Sprinter) The Shop team first begin as listeners before they address and manage your service. Masters in their skills, before any work begins a 360 degree inspection is conducted, a full explanation of findings and newly developing issues are clearly discussed with you. Estimates of cost and time-to-complete are set with your approval. Personalization is how it feels and this has not changed over their 3 years of service earning my trust in their honest and reliable service. Jason is always clear with his explanations (BTW, -when can you say the last time was that you got to speak to the tech that serviced your Sprinter?) and he takes the time to thoroughly answer any question you may have. My Sprinter was in the company of 7 others, receiving the “A”, the “B” or maybe there is a “Z” service. I have the fullest confidence in The Shop and will remain a Sprinter-life-long customer. (I believe that’s 700,000 mi., right?) My thanks again to the Team at The Shop!
Sprinter service of my ‘18 2500 RWD. Tech savvy (email & text updates/invoices), EXCELLENT communication, honest feedback and strong knowledge base from the mechanics at The Shop in Boulder. Took me 4 years to find them, and won’t use a different shop for planned maintenance in the future.
The Shop is great! We use them for our company vans, I was recommended to them by the tech who outfitted our event Sprinter who uses the shop for everything that he can't do himself. We recently had to get our 10 year old Chevy in for some fixes, and the guys at Shop were super up front about everything and knocked off labor costs when something didn't take as long as they expected. That's something I've never seen before! True honesty which made me trust every other decision they made. All in all a great experience.
