I've been going to Mod Market since it opened in Boulder. And loved it. I've visited the Denver location twice. The service is significantly worse and the food also isn't as fresh. I always order the same thing- a build your own salad. Long story short I woke up with food poisoning from the salad. I hadn't eaten anything afterwards so I'm very sure what caused it. It kills me to give to stars to this establishment but food poisoning is a b**ch.
Very delicious and fresh food. Also the staff is incredibly friendly, aside from one employee named Justin. When he was rude to me, I asked his name so I could tell a manager about it and he refused to tell me...I had to ask one of the regulars who also admitted to having a similar experience with him. If it weren't for my experience with Justin, I would have given this review 5 stars.
I ordered the summer seared ahi salad. There were no eggs, corn, squash, avocado, or TUNA! I think the fish I got was salmon? The lemonade was good. Very disappointed overall. What I got vs. what I ordered...
BEWARE! This location does not pay attention to allergies! I am very disappointed with the consistent overlooking of my onion allergy. When I order my meal I make it clear I have an onion allergy. Every meal label says "no onion" and sometimes even "onion allergy" is on the label. Regardless of this my meal ALWAYS has onions on it. Not only is there onion in my meal but it's an obscene amount. Not only did they put me at risk but then omitted half my salad contents. There was no chicken and no cucumber! I absolutely love the food at this place and I don't want to never go back, but after today ( 5th time) I'm not sure I ever want to risk eating here again.
It was alright. Nothing stood out in my opinion. Went when it was slow and waited to be greeted and to be helped place an order. Prices are decent considering it’s downtown
