Working with JPar Modern Realtor agent Lyndsay Wiebalk has been an enlightening experience. We are trying to find a new home in another town and she has found many homes that meet our criteria. She listens to our concerns and works very hard to find what we need. Thank you for having such an intelligent agent.
Garrett Majors was very responsive and gave us devoted attention and priority. He was on top of scheduling inspections, etc as soon as possible to be ahead of deadlines and educating us on any questions we had on documents or processes. There was absolutely no pressure with the buying process as respected our needs and wanted the right house for us at the right time. It was really important to us to get someone that genuinely cared who understands how big of a transaction a house purchase is and cares about buyers going into it with full clarity and peace of mind.
My wife and I listed our house with Tammy Ortega. At first she was very responsive and even sold our mountain property in just a few days. As time went on she stopped taking the initiative and informing us about the feedback from showings. As time went on we had to call her and ask why our house was not selling. Every time we called she would say no problems the right person has not been in the house. After about a dozen showings we heard one of the potential buyers say he couldn’t believe this house was only 1200 square feet. We looked at the listing and found Tammy had listed the square footage wrong. When she was informed about her error she blamed the error on the county tax web site. I looked on the site and found they had the right square footage Tammy had subtracted the basement size from the finished floors showing our house as over priced per square foot. Even with proof of this including a appraisal she still refused to change the listing. After more than a hour of arguing she finally changed the listing. I decided that her brokerage owner needed to be Informed. I called the office and explained the situation with the owner. He showed no concern and asked me “what do you want done”. After the listing was changed we finally were able to sell the house but not before even more issues with the buyers mortgage company. After 14 days of delays we were finally able to close. After closing Tammy could not even call and say congratulations. She sent us a text message saying congratulations have a good weekend. In my opinion I would not use this company they have no customer service skills. They do just enough to sell your home so they can get your commission, once it is sold they are gone. They obviously only care about the money not the people. As all this was going on we had already closed on our new home a few weeks before. We used a different realtor for that house because it was in another state. That realtor to this day continues to call us and see how things are going. Brian
Showed to my house without any prompt and left trash in my yard.
I first joined Modern 10 years ago or so, then left to join a firm known for it marketing. I've come back. The fees can't be beat. On top of that, Paul and Ryan (managing brokers) are very responsive. After being an agent for almost 20 years, it seems like I should have seen everything by now, but I find new issues on a routine basis, and when I call or text the bosses I always get a good answer quickly. Moreover, the boutique firm I joined never felt family, or if it did, I was never part of that family. Going to the office at Modern, I always feel welcome. Great place to work.
