Excellent restaurant located in the Grand Hyatt. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Very good prices as well. Highly recommended.
Had an off-putting experience here. Maybe train your staff to not crack knuckles and be so condescending and impatient when taking an order for a takeaway draft beer 50 minutes before the stated closing time? When I checked in at the connected Hyatt, the receptionist informed me that the bar would close at 11pm. At 10:10pm, 30 mins after I check in, I head over to the bar at Courier, and as I approach, the manager very sternly tells me that the bar had to close at 10pm. I ask them to let me get a draft beer to take away. She exudes frustration as she says "follow me" to the bar, and then converses with the bartenders, who are still starting to make drinks. The bartenders sigh and look upset, and the manager finally says "ok, look at the menu" and I stand there for 10 minutes while the bartenders don't acknowledge me. Finally the woman bartender comes over and cracks her knuckles (???) and says "what do you want?" and I say "this draft beer" and she seems relieved. But when is it okay to be so condescending and to act like a hotel guest is a nuisance for asking for a draft beer 50 minutes before the stated closing time? If there was some ultra extenuating circumstance, they really didn't explain that at all. The treatment soured my whole stay, and I wondered if they would've had the same attitude if I weren't a petite Asian woman.
Very small portion sizes. Fries not offered with burgers. See attached image of their $12.00 USD mac n' cheese with chicken. There was maybe a grand total of 20 grams of chicken. I feel robbed. I will however end this review on a positive note. The cheeseburger itself was very good and I asked for it to be cooked medium, which it was. That being said, the lack of french fries ruined the meal for me, and the poor value offering on the appetizers further left a sour taste in my mouth. Do better Courier Market!
Dariia (the Ukranian bartender who has the personality of a door-knob) and Brittany (the fake and phony "kitchen" manager) have absolutely no businesss being in the food industry if they can't accept negative comments/feedback/tips from customers. Don't waste neither your time nor money here and go to Panzano where you get treated fairly and not with rudeness.
I’m usually not one to write reviews but I could not help but want to express how amazing the service here was! Angelica and Andrew especially have been amazing every time we come by to order food. They are very sweet and welcoming and I almost feel at home. Aside from the excellent service the food was great such as their pancakes and French toast! The delicious food has made our experience here great but the service from Angelica and Andrew was the cherry on top to make this a perfect experience that makes us want to come back soon!
